This site aims to preserve, organise and make available information on the origins of the Klamas family and the related families, bringing together genealogical data, historical documents, photographs and records spanning different generations.

As a starting point, the family tree of Liesl Maud Klamas was adopted, connecting the paternal and maternal branches of this research. From there, the study expands to cover the families of origin, their places of provenance, the migratory movements and the historical context that marked the arrival of European immigrants in southern Brazil between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Beyond preserving family memory, this work aims to serve as a reference source for relatives, researchers and descendants wishing to complement or develop their own genealogical research.
